The honest answers.
Things we get asked on first calls, written out so you don't have to ask. If yours isn't here, send it directly.
Do you build websites, apps, or both? +
Both — websites, web apps, mobile apps, and the AI tools that quietly do the work nobody wants to do.
Both. We build websites, web apps, mobile apps for iPhone and Android, AI tools that automate the boring work, and the custom software that wires everything together. Most projects we ship are a mix of two or three of those. The first call is where we figure out exactly what's right for your situation — no commitment, no sales pitch.
Will I work with the same person from start to finish? +
Yes — the same senior lead is on every call and writes the code on your project, every time.
Yes. The same senior lead is on every call and writes the code on your project. We pull in trusted specialists for design or mobile work when it makes sense, but there are no hand-offs to junior teams, no offshore work, and no agency middle layer. You always know exactly who's responsible for what's getting built.
How involved do I need to be? +
Less than you'd expect — usually about an hour of your time each week, with everything teed up so it's easy.
Less than you'd expect. After we agree on what we're building, we usually need about an hour of your time each week — a check-in to look at the latest working preview and answer a couple of quick questions. We come prepared, ask the right things, and respect your calendar. You don't need to manage us — that's our job.
What if my project changes mid-build? +
It happens on almost every project, and it's fine — small changes are included, bigger ones get re-quoted in writing first.
It happens on almost every project, and it's fine. Small changes within the original scope are included. Bigger changes mean a quick re-scope and an updated quote, in writing, before any extra work happens. No surprises on the invoice, ever.
What happens if something breaks after launch? +
You've got options — take the keys and run it yourself, or stay with us on an Ongoing plan that covers monitoring and fixes.
You've got two options. Take the keys and run it yourself — everything is documented and yours, and we can fix things on a paid hourly basis when you need us. Or stay with us on an Ongoing plan where we monitor it, fix things fast, and keep shipping small improvements every month.
What does it cost? +
A single project starts around $8k. Ongoing plans start at $4.5k/month. Real numbers on the first call — never vague ranges.
A single project starts around $8k and is always a fixed price. Ongoing plans start at $4.5k/month and cover building, launching, and supporting everything as you grow. Our Embedded Team plan starts at $18k/quarter. We share the real number on the first call once we know what you're building and how big it is — we'd rather quote a real price than wave around vague ranges.
